When you open the package, it is clearly see that they did a great job protecting the machine as usual, they used black foam to secure the machine to prevent shipping damage. In general, they succeeded in packaging and everything is well organized. The entire structure is design for quick assembly; assembly can usually complete within 10-20 minutes.
The package includes manual user guide, usb cable, lcd controller, power supply, x and y axis profile, laser module, bracket, tool bag kit, interface cable, card reader, cutting pad and others parts left.
The ATOMSTACK A10 PRO Dual-Laser Engraving Machine is made of durable aluminum alloys to provide a long lasting product. The design also improves accuracy through its anodized surface which makes it easier for cutting tools. There are precise scale lines on the X-axis and Y-axis to facilitate quick length measurement.
The panoramic filter glass protective cover of our product has a very good role in protecting your eyes from ultraviolet light and filters 97%, and It is quite convenient and fast to adjust the height of the laser when you need to switch material.
The ATOMSTACK A10 PRO has an engraving interval of 410 x 400mm which will meet your various needs. This large-area machine utilizes a screw rod instead if combined couplings to make it more precise and durable, as well!
Laser Engraving & Cutting
The Atomstack A10 Pro features a diode laser with 10W of power output. To achieve this high level, two separate lasers have been combined into one for greater stability and efficiency using double compression spot technology. With this new and improved base power, both speeds for engraving as well as cutting have been increased.
The laser spot area of ATOMSTACK A10 Pro laser engraver is 0.08×0.08mm, it combines high energy cutting and precision engraving at the same time, can cut 15mm thick wooden boards and black acrylic, and engrave stainless steel metal, leather, ceramic, glass.
The process of cutting and engraving is as simple as following a few steps. First, place the included fixed focus piece onto your material with proper orientation so that it can be cut or engraved by laser beam perfectly through its surface – this will help produce cleaner lines than if done otherwise!
Next loosen handle screw on top which allows adjustment knobs below to move freely; tighten tightly once finished using these increments only until they lock into position again (or do not overtighten). Now remove both items simultaneously:
The A10 Pro has a 32-bit motherboard to help with offline engraving and cutting speeds are up 40% compared other models. The software to control the A10 Pro is free to use which is Laser GRBL, a open source software. There’s also paid software LightBurn which you can try out with a time-limited full function trial period. It may be worth giving it another go once your engraver has been mastered!
Machine Safety & Precautions
There are limit switches installed on both the X-axis and Y-axis, so you can avoid collisions. And the emergency stop button is located at the control terminal, next to an easily accessible power switch and reset buttons.
During live operation with the A10 Pro connected via a USB cable, I never felt any need for these buttons. If I noticed anything off, it was easy to just pause or stop the project via software like Laser Grbl or lightburn.
By the way, although the panoramic filter glass protective cover that comes with it filters out 97% of UV light, I always recommend everyone wear a glass to protect your eyes.
When you start engraving or cutting different materials, smoke is released by the material. Do not use the laser in an enclosed space without ample ventilation because besides the bad smell, your lungs don’t like the fumes produced. So you must always keep the laser in a well ventilated area when you use machine.
